I decided that since I couldn't blog myself while in South Africa (wifi is a new development there and we hardly had any access anyway!), I would create a separate blog to write about my experiences there retrospectively. Some of the posts might be straight up verbatim from my daily journaling, but I hope to write about some of the thoughts I didn't record at the time and to add new ones after the fact.
